By Road

Largs is only a forty five minute drive from Glasgow Airport, an hour from Glasgow City and an about an hour and a half from Edinburgh. The M8 connects the two cities, to reach Largs take the M8 west which becomes the A737, then follow signs for Largs route A760 this road takes you over the hills to the coast, when you reach Largs the Haylie Hotel is straight ahead you can not miss it.

By Rail

Largs station is the last stop on the line from Glasgow Central the journey takes 1 hour. On arrival in Largs you can walk up the main street to the hotel a good 10 minute walk up hill, alternatively taxi's are available just outside the station entrance to save your legs. By Plane

As mentioned Glasgow Airport is only forty five minutes up the road where a bus or taxi will bring you to Largs. Prestwick airport to the South near Ayr is also only forty five minutes by road. You will find more information about public transport from the airports on the following websites.
